HK Maker Lab at Columbia University

The HK Maker Lab is a summer program by Columbia Engineering that offers NYC high school students a unique chance to explore engineering design through hands-on projects. It is aimed at 10th and 11th graders attending a NYC DOE public or charter high school. The program emphasizes innovation and collaboration, preparing participants for future careers in STEAM. Successful students may also secure paid internships in research labs or healthcare institutions. Applications are open until February 2nd for eligible students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
