The National Institute of Health High School Summer Internship Program

The NIH Program is a medical based internship designed for students who are interested in exploring numerous healthcare fields and conducting research. This program offers wellness and leadership training, exploration of multiple STEM fields, and full-time health research. Throughout this program, selected students will be paired in groups and work with a principal investigator of research. Qualified applicants must reside at least 40 miles from the NIH Campus and must be U.S Citizens that are in the 11th or 12th grade. This program is highly selective with an acceptance rate of 7%.
